Amy Denet Deal is a member of the Diné Tribe. Currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she created 4KINSHIP in 2015 with her daughter Lily Yeung. For years this mother daughter team created small batch clothing, upcycled from vintage treasures. . Throughout Amy’s journey with the brand she honed her photographic skills by filming her daughter.
This photo was taking in 4KINSHIP’s first storefront in Albuquerque, was styled by the artist with beading by Raymond Anderson, in a top she made from vintage 1950’s velvet found in an old trading post. Representing the past and future. All profits of sale of this photo go to the model, as Lily has followed her mom’s footsteps, and is currently studying fashion design in London in Central St. Martin’s.
