We deal mostly in vintage and overstock items that can be restored and/or upcycled. Due to the age of these items, most of them are smaller in size which refelcts sizing of the period the garment was made. We look for a variety of different materials and types of products, traditionally sized for both women and men to help offset some of this challenge. When doing small batch, we are as inclusive as possible and offer unisex sizing which often goest up to a 3xl size. Many of our jewelry items are also adjustable in nature.

About this piece
The New Nomads: Temporary Spaces and a Life on the Move by Gestalten 2015
We’re honored to release the first drop from the 4KINSHIP Studio Library — a curated collection of vintage and gently used books gathered over decades of research, travel, design, and lived experience.
These titles have shaped our thinking. They’ve informed our dye practices, textile studies, Indigenous design ethics, land-based storytelling, and our broader creative journey. Some are rare. Some are well-loved. All have been part of the foundation of what became 4KINSHIP.
As we thoughtfully downsize our archives, we’re excited to pass these phenomenal reads forward — into new studios, homes, classrooms, and creative spaces.
May they inspire you the way they inspired us.
May they be used, referenced, dog-eared, and loved again.

A Study in Mobile Living + Creative Infrastructure
For those building lives in motion.
The New Nomads explores a generation untethered to one place — designers, developers, musicians, and makers who move fluidly between cities, cultures, and collaborations. Berlin to Chile. New York to anywhere. Home is no longer fixed — it’s carried, created, and reimagined.
This beautifully documented volume examines the architecture, interiors, modular furniture, and multi-functional tools shaping this new era of urban nomadism. Temporary living spaces. Flexible work environments. Sleeping pods. Co-working hubs. Furniture that transforms from chair to storage, desk to bed. Infrastructure made visible — not hidden.
Compact. Sustainable. Adaptable. Designed for movement.
A thoughtful resource for architects, planners, product designers, and anyone building creative ecosystems rooted in flexibility and exchange.
In many ways, this book mirrors the way we live now — carrying inspiration across borders, building community wherever we land.
