About this piece

++ Navajo Made Sterling Silver Medicine Wheel Pendant++ by Diné artist Gino Antonio

Exquisite artistry by Diné artist Gino Antonio 🤎

Hand fabricated from sterling silver using traditional tufa stone casting and hand-stamping techniques, this heirloom-quality medicine wheel pendant embodies strength, resilience, and a deep connection to Diné homelands.

Each pendant begins as a one-of-a-kind creation, cast from hand-carved tufa stone and finished entirely by hand. No two are exactly alike. The natural textures left by the tufa casting process create a landscape-like surface that echoes the rugged beauty of the Southwest.

The Medicine Wheel is a revered symbol found throughout many Indigenous communities, often associated with balance, interconnectedness, healing, and the cyclical nature of life. Representing the relationship between the four directions, the seasons, the stages of life, and the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of being, it serves as a reminder that wellness comes through harmony and connection. This contemporary interpretation honors those teachings through four directions expressed in abstract stamped patterns, creating a uniquely modern yet deeply rooted design.

Finished with a soft deerskin leather tie, this wearable work of art is designed to be collected, cherished, and passed down through generations.
